Ceramic and carbon parts meet to create a spring-loaded seal. It is recommended to use a small amount of silicone to fix the metal base against the plastic housing. The rubber washer ensures water-tightness against the plastic housing.
This will not fit other LX pumps.
Note: This seal kit only fits new DH1 models from January 2018 onward.
